1:1 Sessions
Sell a paid session
Create a paid appointment clients can book and pay for in one go, from setup to sharing the link.
This is the core of most practices: a 60-minute reading, a coaching session, a reiki treatment. Clients pick a time, pay, and get everything they need to show up.
When to use this
- You charge a set price per appointment.
- Clients book one session at a time. (Selling several together? See Sell a package of sessions.)
Before you start
Connect payouts so you can be paid. See Stripe and payouts.
Set it up
Create the session type
Go to Offerings → 1:1 Sessions and click New Session Type. Enter a Session Name, choose a Duration (or Custom duration for something like 75 minutes), and select Paid. Enter the Price (USD) and click Next.
Choose how you'll meet
Tick Online, In Person or both. For in person, click Next and add the Location Name, Location Address and Instructions. Then click Create Session Type.
Write the booking page
Click Edit. Under Session Page Information, add a Headline, a Description of what happens in the session and who it's for, and optionally a Video URL (YouTube or Vimeo). Click Update. Upload a cover image on the left.
Set your hours
On the Availability tab, add time slots for each day you work. See Set your availability.
Assign a host
In the Staff row, click +, then Add Staff and pick yourself or a team member.
Decide on approval
New session types wait for your approval on each booking. To confirm bookings instantly, switch on Automatic Booking Confirmation in the Session details card. See Approve each booking yourself.
Check your policies
Click Settings at the top to set Allow Rescheduling and Minimum Reschedule Notice (hours). Below the price on the left, check the Refund policy. Click Update to save.
Share it
When the "Not ready to share yet" checklist disappears, open the … menu and choose Preview to see the page as clients do, then Share to copy the link.
Tips
- Changing the price later is safe. Open Edit, change Price (USD) and click Update. Existing bookings keep what they paid.
- Lead with the outcome. In the description, say what someone walks away with, not just what you'll do.
- Offer a gentler entry point. Pair it with a free discovery call or pay-what-you-can pricing.
- Members-only or pass pricing. To make the session free or cheaper for pass holders, see Discount a session.
One price covers every booking. You can't charge differently for evenings, weekends, new vs. returning clients, or online vs. in person. Create a separate session type for each price instead.
What your members see
The session card shows the duration, price and format. On the session page they pick a time and click Confirm & Pay. On the Confirm Booking page they check the summary, answer your questions if you attached a form, and click Confirm & Pay again to pay. They then land on their booking page, which says "You're all set. Your booking is below, and the confirmation is on its way to your email.", or "Your booking is below. You'll hear as soon as the practitioner confirms it." if you approve bookings manually.
