Give a team member, assistant or co-facilitator their own access to your dashboard.

Settings → Collaborators ("Invite collaborators to help manage your portal.") lets other people help run your portal with their own login, so you never share your password.

When to use this

  • An assistant helps you with content, events or members.
  • A co-facilitator or team member hosts sessions.
  • You want someone to help set up your portal.

Open Collaborators

Go to Settings → Collaborators and click Invite Collaborator.

Enter their details

Enter their Name and Email. Leave the Role as Collaborator: "Can manage content but not billing or team."

Send the invitation

Click Send Invitation. They appear in your list as INVITED.

They accept

They open the email, click to accept, and see "Invitation Accepted!". They then create their account or log in. Their status changes to ACTIVE.

If they sign up on their own with the invited email instead, Soul asks "Join [your portal] as a collaborator?" before setting up a portal for them. They click Join [your portal] to join your team, or Create My Own Portal to start their own.

Manage your team

  • Resend Invitation: from the ⋯ menu, for someone who hasn't accepted yet.
  • Remove: from the ⋯ menu. "They will lose access to this portal." The owner can't be removed.

A portal has exactly one owner: the person who created it.

Let clients book a team member

To let clients book 1:1 sessions with a collaborator, add them as staff in Business → Resources (Add Staff → Add existing collaborator), then add them to the session type. You can also choose Invite a new collaborator there, and their staff profile is created when they accept.

Good to know

  • Each email can only belong to one portal's team. Someone who's already a collaborator on another portal can't be invited with the same email.
  • Inviting an email that's already on your team won't work. Use Resend Invitation instead.
  • Capital letters in an email don't matter: an invitation to Alex@Example.com reaches someone who signs up as alex@example.com.
  • An invitation lasts 7 days. If it runs out before they accept, use Resend Invitation.
  • Running two practices with different audiences? You can create a second portal using another email address.

Only invite people you trust. Collaborators can see your members and change your offerings.
