Sell time-boxed access that lets holders book your 1:1 sessions and events for free or at a special price.

Beta. Passes are marked BETA in your dashboard. They work today, but the feature is still growing and some details may change. Right now a pass can unlock 1:1 sessions and Events only.

A Pass is something a member buys once, activates, and then holds for a set length of time. While it's active, they can book the sessions and events you've attached to it at the Pass-Holder Price you chose. That price can be free ("3 months of unlimited coaching calls") or discounted ("$20 classes for pass holders instead of $35"). When the pass expires, prices go back to normal on their own. You don't have to step in.

What members experience

  1. A member finds the pass in the Passes section of your portal, or opens a link you shared: https://bringsoul.life/portal/<your-handle>/passes/<pass-id>.
  2. The pass page shows the cover, name, description, how long it lasts (or "Unlimited access"), and "Pass holders get access to:" with every session and event you attached.
  3. They pick a price under Choose a plan and click Buy for $…. They sign in or create an account first if they need to.
  4. After paying they see "Your pass is ready. It will activate when you book your first session or event." The clock hasn't started yet, and the success screen links to your attached sessions and events under "Book now to secure your spot!"
  5. The pass starts on its own with their first booking. If they'd rather choose, the pass page offers Activate Now, or Start on a specific date, then Pick a date and Confirm. A final check, Activate <pass name>?, shows exactly when it starts and ends. They click Confirm & Activate.
  6. When they book an attached session, the Confirm Booking page shows Pay with, with their pass already chosen: Your <pass name> · Included for a free session, or the pass price. Regular price is the other option. When the pass makes the session free, the button reads Book Now. If the pass hasn't started yet, they see "Booking starts your <pass name> on <date>."
  7. To come back to a pass, they open it from the Passes section of your portal. Passes they bought are also listed in their Purchases, where each one opens its pass page.

Members are told: "Once activated, your pass validity window begins and cannot be paused, extended, or refunded." Encourage them to activate when they're ready to start booking.

Anatomy of a pass

A pass has three parts: the Pass Details, the Pass Price (what people pay to buy it), and the Offerings it unlocks (each with its own pass-holder price). Each person who holds it has their own User Pass with its own start and end dates.

Pass details

SettingWhat it does
Name (required)Shown on your portal and at checkout, e.g. "Spring Coaching Pass".
DescriptionShort pitch shown on the pass page and card.
Cover Image (required)16:9 image on the pass card and page. Upload a file, or click Use image URL instead. Change it later by clicking the cover on the pass page.
DurationHow long the pass lasts once it's activated, in days, hrs and min. Leave all three at 0 for a pass that never expires. The dashboard shows it as "Unlimited".

You don't set the duration when you create a pass. Every new pass starts as Unlimited. Set the duration with Edit before you sell it.

Pass price (the Pricing card)

"Set the price users pay to purchase this pass."

SettingWhat it does
Add Price → Regular PriceA single one-time price that anyone can pay. Set it to $0 for a free pass.
Add discountA launch-style discount on the pass price: $ Fixed or % Percent off, with an optional end date (Pick Expiration Date). Members see the reduced price.
Refund policyUses your portal's refund policy unless you set an override for this pass. See Refunds.

A pass has one regular price. There's no separate subscriber price, pay-what-you-want range or monthly billing for a pass in the dashboard.

Offerings (what the pass unlocks)

"Offerings and the prices pass holders pay to access them." Click Attach Offering, pick a tab, tick items, and set what pass holders pay.

TabWhat you can attachHow the pass price works
SessionPublic or unlisted 1:1 session types. Bundles are greyed out: "Bundle sessions cannot be included in a pass."Click Free or type an amount and click Set. Pass holders pay that per booking.
EventPublic or unlisted events that haven't ended and have at least one ticket. Recurring events are greyed out: "Recurring events cannot be included in a pass."Each ticket gets its own pass price. Tickets you leave alone are "Not included".

When an offering has its own price, the dialog shows it for reference. If your pass price is higher than the regular price, you'll see a warning. The button reads Done (N offerings to attach) once at least one price is set.

Pass holders can book an attached session or event as often as they like while the pass is active. A pass doesn't count uses. If you want to limit people to a number of sessions, use a session Bundle instead.

Pass holders (Manage Users)

The User Passes page lists everyone who holds this pass:

ColumnShows
UserThe holder's name and email.
StatusActive, Not Activated or Expired.
TransactionSucceeded, Pending, Refunded or Failed. Shows — for a pass you granted for free.
ValidityStart and end dates, "<start> — No end" for an unlimited pass, or "Not activated".
Granted OnWhen they got the pass.

Row actions: Activate (on a pass that isn't activated yet) starts it now. Expire (on an active pass) ends it now. Grant Pass at the top gives the pass to someone for free.

Where it lives in the dashboard

Offerings → Passes (labelled BETA). The list shows each pass as a card with its duration (e.g. "90d access") and lowest price (or "Free"). Use the card menu to Copy Link.

Opening a pass gives you:

  • ⋯ menu: Edit (name, description, duration) and Delete.
  • Manage Users: opens User Passes.
  • Share: copies the public link. The share card on the page shows the same link with a preview.
  • Cards for the cover, Duration and Pass ID, Pricing, and Offerings.

Statuses and lifecycle

Passes have no draft state. As soon as you create one, it can appear in your portal's Passes section and its link works. Members can't buy it until you've added a price; until then they see "No pricing available for this pass yet." To show passes on your home page, turn on the Passes section in your portal.

What members see for their own pass:

StatusMeaning
Pending paymentThey started checkout but haven't finished paying. They see Complete Payment.
Not activatedPaid (or granted), and the clock hasn't started.
ScheduledThey picked a start date in the future.
ActiveInside the window. Pass prices apply.
ExpiredThe window has ended. Regular prices apply again.

On the pass page, a pass they hold reads "Not yet activated", "Activates on <date>", "Active since <date>" (no end date) or "Valid from <start> until <end>".

A member who already holds the pass can buy another from the pass page under Extend or buy another pass. When they activate it, they can't pick dates that overlap a pass they already have, so the new one runs after the old one.

Limits and good-to-knows

  • Only sessions and events can be attached right now. Courses, content and chat spaces can't be attached to a pass yet.
  • Bundles and recurring events can't be included. Sell them separately.
  • The whole booking must fall inside the pass window. A session or event that starts before the pass is activated, or ends after it expires, is charged at the regular price.
  • Booking can start the pass. A member doesn't need to activate a pass before booking a session with it. Booking with a pass that hasn't started starts it from that session's date.
  • Event tickets are charged at the regular price on the event page and at checkout. Pass holders aren't offered the pass price when they register for an event yet, even if you attached the event.
  • Changing the duration only affects passes bought or granted afterwards. Existing holders keep the length they got.
  • Adding or removing offerings affects current holders straight away. You'll be asked to confirm if anyone already holds the pass.
  • Attaching an offering again replaces its old pass price. Remove it and attach again to change the price.
  • Promo codes from Business → Pricing can't target a pass. Use Add discount on the pass price instead.
  • Grant Pass needs a price. You need a pass price set before you can grant, and you can only grant to people who already have a Soul account and are customers of yours.
  • Deleting a pass removes all its attached offerings and can't be undone.
