Stop new sign-ups, let current members finish, or take a path down for good.

When to use this

  • A seasonal or program path has run its course.
  • You've replaced a path with a better version.
  • You want to stop new people joining but let current members finish.

Stop new sign-ups

Open the path

Go to Offerings → Paths and click the path.

Move it to draft

Click Move to draft at the top of the page. You'll see "Path moved to draft. It's now hidden from your audience".

Turn off Auto-subscribe

On the Schedule tab, switch off Auto-subscribe if it was on.

People already on the path keep receiving their messages until they finish or leave.

Stop messages for everyone

Open the Subscribers tab

Filter by Active to see who is still on the path.

Remove each person

Click a subscriber, then Remove from Path. Their future prompts are cancelled and their history is kept.

Hide or delete the path

Click Move to draft, or delete it as below.

Delete a path

Open the path, click ⋯ at the top, then Delete Path and confirm. You can also use Delete in the menu on the path's card in Offerings → Paths.

Deleting a path can't be undone. Its messages go with it. Remove any active subscribers first, and consider Move to draft instead if you might run the path again.

Tips

  • Hand people on. Before you retire a path, send a last message (or an announcement) inviting people to your next path.
  • Reuse rather than rebuild. A path in draft keeps all its messages, so you can publish it again later. For a Self-Paced path, that's often better than deleting.

What your members see

  • Moved to draft: the path disappears from your portal and its link stops working for visitors. Members already on it keep getting messages.
  • Removed: their prompts stop.
  • Deleted: the path is gone from your portal.
