Paths
Add days or edit messages on a live path
Extend, reword or remove messages on a path people are already on, without starting over.
When to use this
- Your 21-day path went well and you want to make it 30 days.
- You spotted a typo or want to change a message's time.
- A message no longer fits and you want to remove it.
Add new days
Open the path
Go to Offerings → Paths and click the path.
Add a message
On the Schedule tab, click Add Schedule. On a Self-Paced path, pick the Day (for example 22nd day). On a Scheduled path, pick the Date. Set the Time, write the message, and click Add Schedule.
Check it reached your subscribers
Open someone on the Subscribers tab. The new prompt appears in their list as Scheduled or Not yet.
New messages are scheduled for everyone already on the path, as long as the message falls in their future. Someone who finished a 21-day path and is still on it will receive a new day 25. Someone who is on day 10 won't get a new day 5.
Edit or remove a message
Find the message
On the Schedule tab, use Search prompts… or the filters to find it.
Edit it
Click the edit icon on its row. Change the type, day or date, time, channel (Scheduled paths), text or attachment, then click Save Changes. Upcoming deliveries for current subscribers move to match.
Or delete it
Click the delete icon and confirm Delete ("Are you sure you want to delete this schedule?").
Good to know
- Sent messages on a Scheduled path are locked. You'll see "This prompt was already delivered, so it can't be edited. You can still delete it from the schedule list."
- Changing the channel of a message cancels the old channel's pending sends and schedules the new ones.
- Removing an attachment: open the message, remove the file, and save to confirm.
- Day numbers. Self-Paced days run from the 1st day to the 365th day. Scheduled dates can be up to a year after the path's start date.
- Ask Soul AI to "add a Day 22 message" or "move the Day 3 task to 8 PM". It shows you the change to approve first.
What your members see
New and edited messages simply arrive at their new time. Nothing changes on the path page, except a Scheduled path's "Next message" line, which updates to the next date.
