Courses
Sell a course on its own
Charge a one-time price for a course so anyone can buy it, whether or not they're a member.
Anyone who finds your course can buy it with a single payment and keep access for good.
When to use this
- Your course is a standalone product, like a signature program or masterclass.
- You want people who aren't members to be able to buy it.
- You want members to get a better deal than everyone else (optional).
Before you start
You need Stripe connected to take payments.
Steps
Open the course pricing
Go to Offerings → Courses, open the course, and on the Course details tab find Course settings. Next to Price, click Edit. The Edit Course Pricing dialog opens.
Creating a new course? You set the same thing in step 2, Pricing Model.
Set the regular price
Under Regular Price, enter what everyone pays, such as 149. If there's no price yet, click Add Price first.
Optional: add a member price
Click Add subscriber price and enter what your active members pay, such as 99. Leave it out if everyone should pay the same.
Optional: add a discount
Click Add discount under a price for a launch offer. See Offer launch or discount pricing.
Save
Click Save Changes. You'll see "Price tiers updated successfully".
Check the refund policy
Under Price, the Refund policy link shows which policy applies. It uses your portal's policy unless you save an override for this course. See Refunds.
Make sure it's public and published
Visibility should be Public so non-members can buy. Click Publish course if it's still a draft.
Share the link
Click Share Course and post the link wherever you promote: https://bringsoul.life/portal/<your-handle>/courses/<course-id>.
Tips
- Offer a taste first. Mark one or two lessons as free previews so people can try before they buy.
- Use the member price to grow your membership. A clear saving for subscribers gives people a reason to join.
- Announce it. Post an announcement when the course goes live.
Good to know
- Course prices are one-time. There's no monthly billing or payment plan for a course.
- Members pay with card or Klarna, and can enter a promo code in checkout.
- Changing the price only affects new buyers. People already enrolled keep their access.
- Buyers keep access for good, even if they never become members. A refund removes access.
If a member started checkout but didn't finish paying, they show as Unpaid on your Enrollments tab and can't open the lessons. They'll see Complete Payment on the course page.
What your members see
The price under Investment on the course page, and a button reading Enroll for $…. Members with a subscriber price see their own price. Checkout shows the total and a promo code field, then Proceed to Payment. After paying they see "Payment confirmed! You now have access to this course." and can click Start Learning.
