Give your paying subscribers free or discounted access to an item or collection while everyone else buys it.

When to use this

  • You want a real perk for subscribing: "members get the full library free".
  • You still want non-members to be able to buy single pieces.
  • You'd like members to pay less rather than nothing.

How it works

Every item and top-level collection can carry two prices: a Regular Price for everyone and a Subscriber Price for your paying portal subscribers. Set the subscriber price to $0 to make it free for them.

Keep it Public

Open the item or collection and make sure Visibility is Public, so non-members can see it and buy it. (Private would hide it from them completely.)

Open pricing

For an item: open the item page and click Edit on Pricing. For a collection: click Edit on the collection page, then Proceed to Pricing.

Set the regular price

Click Add Price and enter what non-members pay.

Add the subscriber price

Click Add subscriber price and enter 0 for free, or a lower amount for a member discount.

Save

Click Save. The card now shows the price plus Subscribers free (or Subscribers $X).

Tips

  • Mention it on your membership. A line like "Members get every meditation free" in your membership pricing description makes the perk visible.
  • Check as a subscriber. In My Portal → Design, use Preview As → Subscriber to see what members see.
  • You can add a discount to either price with Add discount, for example a launch offer only for non-members.

This matters most on collections. If a paid collection has no Subscriber Price, subscribers are treated like everyone else and asked to pay. Always set both prices.

What your members see

  • Subscribers see the item as free for them and click Claim Free Access. One click and it's theirs.
  • Everyone else sees the regular price and Buy Now, plus the subscriber price, which nudges them to subscribe.
