Content Library
Organize a big library with folders
Use collections, folders, bulk upload, reordering and moving to keep a growing library easy to browse.
When to use this
- You have dozens of recordings and members can't find anything.
- You're uploading a whole program or archive at once.
- You want items in a specific order, like Day 1 to Day 30.
Structure that works
- Collections are the top level: one per theme, program or offer. Only collections can carry a price and a form.
- Folders go inside a collection, for weeks, modules or topics. They follow the collection's price.
- Standalone items (the Content tab) suit one-off pieces that don't belong to a set.
Create the collection
On the Collections tab, click Add Collection, fill in the details and click Create & Continue.
Add folders
Open the collection and click Add → Folder (Create Folder). Add one for each week or topic.
Upload in bulk
Open a folder or the collection and click Add → Bulk Upload. Drag in your files ("Drag & drop files"), edit each Title, and optionally set a Price and Subscriber price per file. Open Settings to pick the Visibility, then click Upload. You'll see "Upload Complete!" when it's done.
Put things in order
Inside a collection, click More actions → Reorder, drag items and folders, and click Save Order. To order your collections themselves, click Reorder on the Collections tab (Reorder Collections).
Move strays into place
On any item's ⋯ menu, click Move to.., choose the collection (the current one is marked (Current)) and click Move to Selected Collection.
Tips
- Keep your tab open while uploading. Uploads don't continue in the background. Chrome is the most reliable browser for big files.
- Size limits per file: video 10 GB, audio 1 GB, documents 5 GB, images 20 MB. Split or compress long videos.
- Duplicate a collection or item from its ⋯ menu to reuse its setup.
- Search and filter. Both tabs have a search box and a Visibility filter, and the Collections tab can filter to Draft.
- Change visibility for everything inside with More actions → Manage Visibility.
A collection can't be deleted while it still has items or folders inside, and there's no bulk delete. Plan your structure before uploading hundreds of files. See Archive and clean up.
What your members see
The collection page lists folders and items in the order you set. Opening a folder shows what's inside, with breadcrumbs back to the collection.
