Give registrants worksheets, slides, replays and bonuses, organized in folders on the event.

You'll end up with a set of materials that only people registered for the event can open, right on their registration page.

When to use this

  • Prep materials or a reading list before the event.
  • Worksheets, slides or meditations to use during it.
  • The recording and bonus resources afterwards.

Steps

Open the Content tab

Go to Offerings → Events, open the event and click Content: "Share additional content and learning materials with attendees."

Create folders (optional)

Click Add Folder, enter a Folder Name such as "Before", "Worksheets" or "Replay", and click Create Folder. Click a folder to open it. You can put folders inside folders.

Add a resource

Click Add Resource (Add First Resource on an empty event, Add Content inside a folder). Enter a Title and Description, then upload the file under Resource File. Documents, images, video and audio are supported. You can add a thumbnail too.

Save it

Click Add Resource. You'll see "Resource added successfully".

Let people know

Send a blast to say the materials are ready, especially for a replay.

Tips

  • Use folders to set expectations. "Before", "During" and "After" makes it obvious what to open when.
  • Keep the tab open while uploading. Large videos can take a while, and uploads stop if you close the page. Compress very large files first.
  • Replays for a repeating class. Name each recording with its date so people can find the one they missed.
  • The description is still your pitch. Content is for registrants after they sign up. Anything people need in order to decide whether to come belongs in the event description.
  • Removing something takes it away from registrants straight away.

What your members see

Once their registration is Confirmed, a Resources section appears on their ticket page (View Ticket on the event page), with your folders and files. People who haven't registered, or whose registration was cancelled, don't see it.
