Message your registrants
Email everyone registered for an event, or one ticket group, now or at a time you schedule.
You'll end up with an email (a Blast) that reaches the people registered for your event, sent right away or scheduled for later.
When to use this
- Logistics: what to bring, where to park, the meeting link.
- A personal reminder or a prep note the day before.
- Last-minute changes, such as a new room or a delayed start.
- After the event: a thank-you, the replay, or what's next.
Steps
Open the Blasts tab
Go to Offerings → Events, open the event and click Blasts. Click Create Blast (or the button in the empty state on your first one).
Write it
Choose recipients
By default it goes to All Registered Users. To narrow it, turn on Send to other group and Select recipient group, for example everyone on one ticket (VIP only) or specific people.
Choose when to send
Under When to Send, pick Send immediately after creation or Schedule for later and choose the date and Time.
Create it
Click Create Blast. An immediate blast goes out right away ("Blast sent successfully to N recipients"). A scheduled one waits in the list.
Each blast in the list has a status: Draft, Scheduled or Completed (sent). A scheduled blast can be changed with Edit, sent early with Send Now, or removed with Delete.
A sent blast can't be edited or deleted. Check the recipients and the message before you send.
Tips
- You don't need to send basic reminders. Soul already emails confirmed registrants 2 days, 1 day and 1 hour before the event. Use blasts for the personal touch and the details only you know.
- Schedule your sequence up front. For a retreat: a welcome with what to pack a week before, a logistics note two days before, and a thank-you the day after.
- Blasts vs. announcements. Blasts go only to people registered for this event. To tell your whole audience about the event, use an announcement.
- Blasts vs. automations. A blast goes to everyone at once. An automation sends something to each person the moment they register, including people who register later.
- Sharing a replay? Upload it to the Content tab and send a blast pointing to it.
What your members see
The blast arrives as an email from you. It's also kept on their ticket page under Messages from <your portal name>, so they can find it again.
