Events
Add attendees yourself
Register someone for free, or email them an invite to accept and pay, straight from the event.
You'll end up with people on your registration list without them having to find the event and sign up on their own.
When to use this
- Someone paid you outside Soul (cash, bank transfer) and needs a spot.
- You're giving a complimentary place to a guest, assistant or co-facilitator.
- You're re-adding someone who was removed by mistake.
- You want to personally invite specific people, who then accept and pay.
Steps
Open Registrations
Go to Offerings → Events, open the event and click Registrations. Click Add Attendee. (It only appears once the event is published.)
Choose how they get access
Under How should they get access?: - Add directly: "Registers them now (existing accounts) for free, no payment collected." - Send invite: "Emails an invite they accept (and pay for) before they appear as registered."
Choose the ticket
Pick the Ticket type. For a repeating event, tick the dates they should attend. Dates that are Full can't be picked.
Add the people
Under People, enter each person's Email and, optionally, Name. Click Add Another for more.
Add a discount (invites only, optional)
For a paid invite, you can choose a Promo code so they pay less. Only codes that apply to this event are listed.

Follow up on invites
Invites appear under Invited people on the Registrations tab with a status of Pending, Accepted, Expired or Cancelled. You can resend or cancel a pending invite from there.
Good to know
- Add directly is free and skips payment. Use it only for people who already paid you or are your guests.
- If someone already has access or a pending invite, you'll see "Could not add existing attendees. They already have access or a pending invite to this event."
- Added people get the same confirmation, reminders, materials and chat access as anyone who registered themselves.
What your members see
Add directly: they're registered right away, and the event shows on the Calendar tab in their Activity, where it opens their ticket. Send invite: they get an email, accept it, pay if the ticket is paid, and then appear as registered.
