Stop someone from booking, buying or messaging, record a report, cancel their membership, or remove them from your lists.

Most of the time your list just grows. When someone makes your space feel unsafe, or simply shouldn't be on your list any more, these actions on their profile in Audience → People let you act.

Which action do you need?

Someone behaves badly and shouldn't book, buy or message youBlock from PortalYes, Unblock from Portal
You want a record of what happened, without blocking yetReport PersonThe report stays on their record
A member's subscription should end, but they stay in your listCancel subscription on their OverviewNo

All of these are in the ⋯ menu at the top of the person's profile, except Cancel subscription, which is on the Overview tab.

Block someone

Open their profile

In Audience → People, click the person.

Choose Block from Portal

Click ⋯ → Block from Portal.

Confirm

"Blocking prevents future bookings, messages, and access to your portal's products and services. You can unblock them later." Click Block.

What happens:

  • A Blocked status appears next to their name.
  • They can't book sessions, register for events, enroll in or open your courses, buy content or passes, subscribe, or message in your chat spaces. Soul recognises them by their account, email address and phone number.
  • They're removed from your chat spaces.
  • Anything they already bought or booked isn't cancelled or refunded. Cancel upcoming sessions and their membership yourself if needed.

To undo it, click ⋯ → Unblock from Portal and confirm Unblock: "They'll regain access to bookings, messages, and your portal's products and services." They aren't put back into chat spaces automatically.

Report someone

Click ⋯ → Report Person, describe what happened (required, up to 2,000 characters) and click Submit report. "Reporting records the reason — it does not block the person." Use it to keep a record; block them as well if they shouldn't be able to book or buy.

Cancel someone's membership

Open their Overview

Open the person and click Overview. The Subscription section shows their Billing cycle and Expires date.

Cancel

Click Cancel subscription and confirm Yes, Cancel Subscription. "This action cannot be undone and the subscriber will lose access to your exclusive content."

They stay in People and move to Past subscribers. For money back, see Refund a member.

Delete someone

Choose Delete Member

Open the person and click ⋯ → Delete Member.

Read what it does

"This removes them from your community and stops all emails and messages. They won't appear in your member lists or exports. Contact support if you need them restored."

Handle their activity

If they have an active membership or upcoming sessions, Soul checks ("Checking subscription and bookings…") and offers, under Also handle their activity: Cancel their active subscription and Cancel N upcoming session bookings. Tick what you want ended too.

Delete

Click Delete. You're taken back to your community roster.

Deleting doesn't cancel anything you don't tick. A member deleted without ticking Cancel their active subscription keeps being billed. To get someone back, contact support@bringsoul.life.

Good to know

  • Block, Report and Delete only appear on a person's profile reached from People or Customers & Subscribers, not on the community-membership view, so removing someone from your community can't accidentally remove them from your whole portal.
  • Your own profile in your community roster has none of these actions.
  • Deleting is the way to remove a lead you added by mistake. There's no bulk delete.
  • Blocking and reporting need an active Soul plan. Deleting doesn't.
