Use the tabs, search, filters and sorting in People to find one person or a whole group.

Find anyone in Audience → People in a few seconds, or narrow the list to exactly the group you want to follow up with.

When to use this

  • You're looking up one client before a session or a reply.
  • You want to see everyone from one form, everyone who registered for events, or everyone with a tag.
  • You want to check who cancelled their membership.
  • You're about to export a group and want the list right first.

Pick a tab

TabShows
All peopleEveryone: leads, customers and subscribers.
LeadsPeople who haven't paid you and have never had a membership.
Customers & subscribersPeople who've paid you, plus anyone who has or had a membership (even a free one).

On Customers & subscribers, a Subscriber status filter appears:

Subscriber statusShows
All subscriber statusesEveryone on the tab.
Non-subscribersCustomers who bought something but never had a membership.
Active subscribersPeople with a membership that's active now.
Past subscribersPeople whose membership was cancelled or has ended, and who don't have an active one.

The tab you pick is kept in the page address, so a bookmark or a link to the Leads tab opens on Leads.

Type in "Search by name, email, or phone…". It matches part of a name, an email address or a phone number, so gmail, +44 or sarah all work. Search goes back to page 1 and combines with your tab and filters.

Filter

Click Filter to open the filter panel. Everything you set combines: only people who match all of them show.

FilterOptions
SourceAll sources, Community, Form, Event Registration, Session, Creator Subscriber, Content Purchase, Collection Purchase, Course Enrollment, User Pass, Chat Space Member, Manual. How they first arrived.
ActivityAll activity, or something they've done at least once: Form submission, Portal visit, Incentive claim, Content purchase, Pass purchased, Collection purchase, Event registration, Event registration cancelled, Session booked, Session cancelled, Subscription created, Chat space member purchased, Chat space joined, Course enrolled, Course completed, Course lesson completed, Email received, Email opened, Email clicked, Lifecycle changed, Stage changed, Contact updated.
Community membershipEveryone, Community members or Not community members.
Tag"Enter an exact tag". Type the tag exactly as you saved it.

The Filter button shows how many filters are on. Clear all turns them all off.

Source answers "how did they first find me?". Activity answers "have they ever done this?". To find everyone who registered for any event, including people who first came from a form, use Activity → Event registration rather than Source → Event Registration.

Sort and page through

  • Click the Name, Email or Relationship column header to sort A to Z. Click again for Z to A, and a third time to go back to the default order.
  • Without a sort, the newest people are first.
  • The list shows 10 people per page, with "Showing X–Y of Z" and page buttons at the bottom. Z is the total that matches your tab, search and filters.
  • Hover a name for a quick card with their Relationship, the date they were Added, their Source and phone number. Click the row to open their profile.

Good to know

  • The Tag filter is exact. VIP and vip are different tags, and retreat won't find retreat-2026.
  • Filters reset when you leave the page; the tab you picked stays in the address.
  • The people you're looking at are exactly what Export CSV downloads. See Export your contacts.
