# Purchases, cancelling and refunds

> See what you've bought, cancel a membership, update your card, and request a refund.

[Purchases](https://bringsoul.life/purchases) (in the side menu, and in your account menu on any screen) shows Purchases & Receipts:

- Active Subscriptions, with when each renews (_"Renews…"_, _"Trial ends…"_).
- One-Time Purchases, grouped by Luminary, which you can search by class or practitioner. The open icon on a row takes you to that booking, ticket or content.

## Cancel a membership

**Step 1: Find it**

Go to [Purchases](https://bringsoul.life/purchases) and find the membership under Active
Subscriptions. Click Cancel.

**Step 2: Confirm**

You'll see Unsubscribe from *Luminary*? Pick a reason, then click Unsubscribe. Or click Keep
membership to back out.

**Warning:**
Your access ends right away: their members-only content, community and updates. You can
resubscribe any time.

## Update your card or see invoices

Click Manage next to Active Subscriptions, or Billing in your account menu. This opens Stripe's secure billing page in a new tab.

## Refunds

Refunds are decided by the Luminary, not by Soul. _"Soul only keeps the record, they keep the relationship."_

- Sessions and events: cancel the booking or registration, then click Request a refund and give a reason. You'll only see this if you paid and the Luminary accepts refunds. Once a refund goes through, Purchases shows the amount refunded.
- Anything else: message the Luminary through their portal.

The checkout page for an event or session shows the Luminary's refund policy before you pay, or _"Non-refundable."_ if they don't give refunds.
