# Events

> Get tickets, register, vote on times, and manage your event registrations.

## Register

1. Open the event. If it has more than one ticket, choose one.
2. Click Get Ticket (paid) or Register (free). If you're signed out, a free event shows Sign In to Register.
3. On the checkout page, pick your dates if the ticket asks for them (_"Dates · choose up to…"_), and answer any questions the Luminary asks.
4. Click Register & Pay, or Register for a free ticket.

Your ticket opens with _"You're all set. Your ticket is below, and the confirmation is on its way to your email."_ Show its QR code at check-in.

| You see                  | Why                                         |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------- |
| Start a Membership       | The ticket is for members of this Luminary. |
| Sold out                 | No tickets of that type are left.           |
| Sales ended              | That ticket can no longer be bought.        |
| _"This event is full"_   | No tickets are left at all.                 |
| _"This event has ended"_ | Every date has passed.                      |

## Unfinished registrations

- Payment pending: open the event or your ticket and click Complete Payment. _"Your spot is held until…"_ tells you how long you have.
- Payment didn't go through: click Try Again on your ticket.
- Registration expired: the hold ran out. Click Get a New Ticket.

## Your registrations

Your upcoming events are in [Activity](https://bringsoul.life/activity): the next few under Upcoming on the For you tab, and every date on the Calendar tab. Click one to open your ticket. Anything you paid for is also listed in [Purchases](https://bringsoul.life/purchases) under One-Time Purchases, where the open icon on its row takes you to the ticket.

From your ticket you can:

- Add to Calendar, or Join Online for an online event.
- View event page, or Contact _Luminary_ to message them.
- Cancel registration, then confirm with Cancel Registration (or Keep Registration to back out).
- Request a refund, after cancelling a paid ticket, if the Luminary accepts refunds.

On the event page itself you'll see Registered with View Ticket, and Book More Dates when the ticket lets you add dates.

## Time polls

Some Luminaries ask members when an event should happen. When the date is still being decided, the event page shows _"Date to be decided"_ with a Vote link. Mark each time Yes, If need be or No, enter your name, and click Continue.
