# Ask Soul

> Talk with Soul's AI guide, explore practices and find Luminaries and events that fit what you're going through.

On your [Soul home](https://bringsoul.life), under _What are you seeking today?_, you'll find two buttons: Ask Soul and Search.

## Ask Soul

Ask Soul is an AI-powered guide. Share what's on your mind, and Soul responds, reflects, and suggests practices, offerings and Luminaries that might help.

The first time, you'll see Before we begin. Soul is _an AI-powered guide, not a health-care professional or a human_. Tick the box to confirm you understand, then click Continue.

### Threads

Each conversation is a Thread, and you'll find them all under [Threads](https://bringsoul.life/threads). Start one with New Thread, or try a prompt from Ways To Begin, like _Navigating a loss_ or _A decision I’m sitting with_. Once you're signed in, you can attach files to a conversation and pin threads you want to keep close.

Soul suggests offerings and practitioners right in the conversation. Beside it, Common Humanity shows people in history who lived through something similar (_Once, long ago_) and practitioners on Soul who could help (_On Soul now_). On a phone, tap For You to open it.

### Without an account

You can have one conversation with a limited number of messages before signing up. Your conversation comes with you when you create an account.

### Usage

Ask Soul includes a monthly allowance. If you use it up, you can Add credit from [Settings → Soul AI Usage](https://bringsoul.life/settings/ai-usage): 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 credits, or an amount of your own. 100 credits cost $1 and the minimum is 500 credits ($5). Prepaid credit doesn't expire.

**Warning:**
If you're in crisis, Soul isn't the right place. Ask Soul shows See the crisis resources when it
notices, and you can always go to [bringsoul.life/crisis-help](https://bringsoul.life/crisis-help)
for helplines in your country.

## Search

Search finds practices, Luminaries and events by What (a practice, modality or event), When (a start date) and Where (a city, or Near me). Or browse the topics under Explore on your Soul home, like _Spirituality & Inner Work_, _Transitions & New Beginnings_, _Intimacy & Relationships_ and _Grief & Loss_.
