# Connect Google Calendar and Zoom

> Block your busy times, get bookings in your calendar, and create a Zoom link for every 1:1 session.

[Settings → Integrations](https://portal.bringsoul.life/settings/integrations) (_"Connect the tools you use for scheduling and meetings."_) connects your calendar and Zoom so 1:1 sessions run themselves.

## When to use this

- Clients are booking times when you're already busy.
- You want bookings to land in your Google Calendar.
- You want a meeting link created automatically for every online 1:1 booking.

## The connections

| Connection | Where | Used for |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Google Calendar (personal) | Connected Accounts | Your own availability: your busy times block session slots, and your bookings land in your calendar |
| Zoom (personal) | Connected Accounts | A unique Zoom link for every online 1:1 session booking |
| Google Calendar (portal) | Portal Connected Accounts | Customer bookings and portal-wide scheduling |

**Step 1: Open Integrations**

Go to [Settings → Integrations](https://portal.bringsoul.life/settings/integrations).

**Step 2: Connect Google Calendar**

Under Connected Accounts, click Connect on Google Calendar. A Google window opens: choose your
account and allow every permission it asks for. The card changes to Connected and shows your
email.

**Step 3: Connect Zoom**

Under Connected Accounts, click Connect on Zoom and sign in to Zoom.

**Step 4: Connect your portal calendar (optional)**

If your portal uses a shared calendar for bookings, click Connect under Portal Connected
Accounts.

**Step 5: Make your session types online**

Open each [1:1 session type](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/offerings/sessions/introduction) and turn on the online
option (*"Share meeting links automatically via Zoom, Google Meet, or manual links."*). Meeting
links are then created from the assigned staff member's Google or Zoom account, or you can add
one by hand.

## Tips

- Allow every permission. If something's missing, the card shows Missing Permissions. Click Reconnect and allow them all.
- Availability is set per session type, not here. Your calendar only blocks out busy times on top of the hours you set.
- Test it: book a session on your own portal from a second account and check it appears in your calendar with a Zoom link.

**Note:**
Automatic meeting links are created for 1:1 sessions only. For events, paste your own meeting link
into the event.

## Other connections

- Stripe (getting paid) is connected from Set Up Payout on Home. See [Set up payouts and get paid](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/business/stripe-and-payouts).
- Instagram is connected from [AutoDM](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/audience/autodm).

## What your clients see

Only times when you're actually free. After booking, they get the Zoom link for their session.
