# Feature and reorder your offerings

> Pin your most important offering to the top of your portal with Highlights, and put your sections in the right order.

Make sure the first thing visitors see is the thing you most want them to do.

## When to use this

- You're launching something and want it front and centre.
- You want new members to see a welcome announcement first.
- Your sections are in an order that doesn't match how people buy from you.

## Pin something to the top with Highlights

Highlights show near the top of your portal, right under your Membership card. You can pin more than one; visitors move through them with a Next button.

**Step 1: Turn on Highlights**

Go to [My Portal → Design](https://portal.bringsoul.life/portal) → Sections and switch on
Highlights.

**Step 2: Open the manager**

Click Manage highlights under the Highlights row, or click the empty Featured card (*"Pin
something to the top of your portal"*) in the preview.

**Step 3: Choose what to pin**

Click Add Highlight. Pick a tab, Announcements, Chat Spaces, Events, Sessions or Landing Pages,
select the item, and click Add Highlight.

**Step 4: Add more, or finish**

Click Add Another Highlight to pin more, or Done.

To remove a highlight, open Manage highlights and click the trash icon (Remove highlight). It's removed straight away. The item itself isn't deleted.

### What you can pin

| A 1:1 session type       | _Featured session_      |
| A published landing page | _Featured page_         |

[Soul AI](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/soul-ai) can also pin a content item, a collection or a form. Ask it on Home, for example _"Feature my free meditation on my portal."_

Community posts, questions, gatherings and circles can't be highlighted. They live behind community membership, so most visitors couldn't open them.

**Tip:** 
A highlight shows the item's own title and image. To use your own words and picture, add a [link
card](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/portal/add-links-and-buttons) instead.

## Put your sections in order

**Step 1: Open the Sections tab**

Go to [My Portal → Design](https://portal.bringsoul.life/portal) → Sections.

**Step 2: Drag to reorder**

Drag a section by its grip handle. Only sections that are switched on can be moved. Changes save
automatically.

Featured Video, Membership, Highlights and Links always sit at the top, in that order, and can't be dragged. Everything else follows in the order you set.

## Tips

- Lead with your main way to work with you. If most clients book 1:1s, put Sessions first. If you sell a membership, keep Membership on.
- Pin a welcome for new members. Write a welcome announcement, set it to members only, and pin it. Pinning doesn't change who can see the item, so visitors won't see a members-only announcement.
- Rotate highlights with your launches. Pin the event while it's on sale, then remove it once it's passed.
- Make your chat space easy to find. A chat space members can't find won't get used. Turn on Chat Space high up, and consider pinning it.

**Warning:** 
If you delete an item, its highlight disappears too. If a highlight shows *"Unknown Resource"* in
the manager, remove it and pin something else.

## What your members see

The highlighted item's card near the top of your portal, labelled _Featured event_, _Featured session_ and so on, with a Next button when there's more than one.
