Soul is growing fast. Here's what isn't possible yet, and what to do instead. ## Your portal | Limitation | Workaround | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Changing your portal address breaks links you've already shared. There's no automatic redirect. | Choose your address before launch. If it must change, email [support@bringsoul.life](mailto:support@bringsoul.life) first. | | _"Powered by Soul"_ can't be removed. | — | | Highlights can't be reordered. | Remove and re-add them in the order you want. | | Community posts, questions and circles can't be pinned as highlights. | Pin a chat space or an announcement instead. | | Section titles can't be renamed. | Use a link card or highlight with your own wording. | | Sending emails from your own email address isn't available yet. | Emails come from Soul with your portal name as the sender. | ## Pricing and promotions | Limitation | Workaround | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | A new membership price doesn't apply to existing members. | Ask members to re-subscribe, or give them a [promo code](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/business/promotions). | | Membership tiers don't show descriptions on the pricing page. | Explain tiers in your bio, which shows at the top of the pricing page, or in an announcement. | | Promo codes can't be edited or deleted. | Turn the old code off in View details and create a new one. | | Promo codes can't be used on passes or chat spaces. | Set a lower price, or a member price, on the offering itself. | | A membership discount applies once or forever, not for a set number of months. | Use Once for a first-payment offer or Forever for a lasting one. | | Free-trial codes don't work on one-time memberships. | Use a subscription with Fixed duration instead. | | Subscriber invites are billed monthly. | For yearly members, share your pricing link with a promo code instead. | | No waitlist yet. | Delay billing with a [free trial](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/business/free-trial) end date or invite Billing Starts dates. | ## Members and money | Limitation | Workaround | | ------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | You aren't notified when a subscriber cancels. | Check Past subscribers in [Customers & Subscribers](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/business/customers-and-subscribers) or churn in Analytics. | | There's no separate "cancel membership" button for you. | Delete the member and tick Cancel their active subscription, or ask them to cancel from their account. | | Pre-subscription answers aren't saved as profile fields. | Find them under Form Responses in [Business → Onboarding](https://portal.bringsoul.life/settings/onboarding). | | No physical-product shipping. | Collect addresses with a form attached to a paid item; fulfil it yourself. | | No built-in contract signing. | Use an external e-signature tool. | | No reviews or testimonials feature. | Collect them with a form; feature them in your portal copy, a landing page or an announcement. | | Members can't message each other directly. | Introduce them through Connections in your community. | | Each collaborator email can belong to only one portal's team. | Use a different email for each portal. | ## Offerings and content | Limitation | Workaround | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Forms can't accept file or photo uploads. | Ask for a link (Google Drive, Dropbox, Instagram). | | Courses can't contain a chat space. | Link a chat space from the course description. | | Whole courses, and items inside a collection, can't be unlisted. | Unlist individual content items instead. | | Some offerings have no draft state. | Set the item to Unlisted while you work. Events, content, collections, Paths and landing pages do have drafts. | | Content downloads depend on type: audio, video and articles can't be downloaded; files and images can. | Choose the format that matches whether you want people to download. | | Standalone chat spaces can't be deleted. | Archive them instead. | | Passes can only unlock 1:1 sessions and events, and don't count uses. | For a pack of sessions, use a session Bundle. | | Bundle sessions can't be combined with group booking. | Choose one per session type. | | Automatic meeting links are for 1:1 sessions only. | Paste a meeting link into events. | | Gatherings held on an external link (Zoom, Meet) aren't recorded by Soul. | Record them in that tool and upload the file to Materials. Live audio rooms are recorded automatically. | | Uploads don't continue in the background. | Keep the tab open; use Chrome; compress very large files. | | No bulk folder delete in the Content Library. | Archive items one by one, then delete the folder. | ## Automations | Limitation | Workaround | | --------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | No day-by-day email drips. | Use [Private Paths](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/offerings/paths/introduction) for timed sequences, or Automations for single emails. | | Automations can't have extra conditions. | Create the automation from the specific event, session type, course or form it's for. | | Automations only reach people who trigger them after you set them up. | Send an announcement to earlier members. | ## Soul AI | Limitation | Workaround | | ------------------------------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | No usage alerts by email or text. | Check [Settings → AI usage](https://portal.bringsoul.life/settings/ai-usage), or watch for the messages in chat. | | Soul AI can't connect Google Calendar or Zoom for you. | Connect them in [Settings → Integrations](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/settings/integrations). |
