Your Co-Creation profile is separate from your portal. It's what other practitioners see in Discover and on ideas, and it's what Soul reads when it writes your matches. Edit it at [Co-Creation → Profile](https://bringsoul.life/co-creation/profile). ## When to use this - Your matches don't fit what you want any more. - You've added a new modality, moved, or grown your audience. - You want to step back from Discover or from being suggested to others, without leaving. ## Edit your profile _"This is your profile as the community sees it. Click any line to edit it."_ The page has two tabs. ### Profile tab: what others see | Part | Notes | | ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ | | Photo and cover | Change photo / Change cover: Upload, Use my portal photo or cover, or Remove. JPG, PNG or WebP. The cover is a wide 13:3 crop. | | Name | Click to edit. Your city shows under it with up to four practice chips. | | About | _"The first line is your headline — the one Discover shows on your card."_ You can dictate it. | | What you'd love to co-create | Your partnership vision. The same answer Update Vision on Matches changes. | | Links | Add your website, Add a social link. | | Audience | How many people you reach. If Soul found a figure, it says where: _"We found … on … Change it if that is not right."_ | | Location | Your ZIP code. _"Your ZIP code is never shown — only the city it resolves to."_ | ### Preferences tab: what Soul matches on _"None of this appears on your profile. It is what Soul reads when it looks for people to pair you with, so the more exact it is, the better your matches."_ - What you are: add or remove Practitioner, Studio or venue, Maker, Community or Team. Keep at least one. - Your practice: your modalities (these also show on your public profile). - Where you work: _"How far a collaboration can realistically reach."_ - What you bring: _"Paired against what other people are looking for."_ - What you're looking for: _"Paired against what other people bring."_ ### Save The bar at the bottom shows _"You have unsaved changes"_ (or _"Soul filled some of this in from your site — save to keep it"_). Click Save changes, or Discard. Leaving with unsaved changes asks you first. Changes to your vision and preferences shape your next round of matches, not the ideas you already have. ## Control how visible you are Two switches on the Profile tab, both on when you join: | Switch | On | Off | | --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Visible in Discover | _"Anyone in the community can find you by searching."_ | Hidden from Discover: _"You keep your matches, but nobody can find you by searching."_ | | Open to being matched | _"Soul can put you forward as a co-creator when it writes somebody an idea."_ | Not open to being matched: you still get your own ideas and can still search, but Soul never suggests you to anyone else. | Hidden or not, people you already share an idea or a conversation with can still open your profile. ## See it as others do Click Open Public View ↗ to see your profile the way other members do, with Message and Visit their portal buttons, your About, what you'd love to co-create, your offerings and your links. Your offerings come from your portal, so to change them, edit them in your dashboard. ## If the profile isn't finished While something matching needs is missing, a card at the top reads _"Finish your profile to be matched"_ with a checklist: Say what you are, Name your practice, Describe your work, Say what you want from a partnership, and Say how many people you reach (optional, _"but it decides who you get paired with"_). Click Take me through it step by step to finish in the wizard, and save its last step. If Soul drafted your profile from your portal, the banner reads _"Soul matched you from your portal"_ until you finish setting it up; click Review my profile to check what Soul wrote. Once your profile can be matched, a banner on Matches and Discover still names anything worth adding, for example _"Your profile is missing a few details. Add how many people you reach."_ Click Complete your profile to open this page. The banner goes away once each item is filled in. ## Tips - Be concrete in your vision: who, what format, where. _"A spring yoga and sound retreat in Northern California with a sound healer"_ matches better than _"collaborations"_. - Keep your headline about the people you serve, not only your title. - Keep your ZIP code current.
