You'll end up with Co-Creation switched on, a profile Soul can match on, and your first ideas on the way. ## When to use this - You'd like to find other practitioners, venues or makers to create with. - You want a joint workshop, retreat or referral partner but don't know who to ask. - You've seen Co-Create in your dashboard and want to know what happens when you click it. ## Before you start - Make sure your portal says what you do. Soul reads your portal's description and your offerings to fill in your profile, so a fuller portal means less typing. - Have a US ZIP code to hand. Matching uses it for in-person ideas, and your profile shows only the city. - Allow about five minutes. ## Activate it **Step 1: Open Co-Create** In your dashboard, go to [Audience → Co-Create](https://portal.bringsoul.life/co-creation). The Co-Creation Hub page explains it: *"Connect with co-creators to create meaningful collaborations that amplify your impact and theirs."* **Step 2: Click Activate Co-Creation** *"Unlock your profile on Soul and we'll start finding you matches."* Co-Creation opens in a new tab at [bringsoul.life/co-creation](https://bringsoul.life/co-creation), where Co-Creation lives. **Step 3: Opt in** On *Activate Co-Creation*, tick *"Yes, I opt in for Soul to use AI to help improve matching, and I agree to Soul's Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Health Data Notice."* and click Activate & See My Matches. **Step 4: Let Soul read your portal** *"We're reading your portal. This takes about a minute."* Soul reads your portal description and your most popular offerings and drafts your headline, About, vision and practices. Nothing outside Soul is crawled at this step. **Step 5: Finish your profile** The *Finish Your Profile* wizard opens with what Soul found already filled in. Check each step and click Continue. See the steps below. **Step 6: Save & Continue** On the last step, click Save & Continue. You'll see *"Your co-creation profile is complete. Your matches are on the way."* and land on Matches. Once you've joined, Co-Create in your dashboard takes you straight to [bringsoul.life/co-creation](https://bringsoul.life/co-creation). ## The four profile steps ### 1. Basics: who you are, and what you do _"We pre-filled what we could from your link. Just confirm and tweak."_ | Field | Notes | | --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Name or brand | Required. | | I am a… | Pick all that apply: Practitioner (_"You teach, treat or coach."_), Studio or venue, Maker, Community or group, Team or company. Each one adds its own questions in step 2. | | ZIP code | Required, 5 digits. | | Where you work | Optional: In-person, near me; Regional; National; Virtual, anywhere; Hybrid. | | What do you do? | Required, one line, up to 140 characters. This is your headline in Discover. | | About your work | Required. A few sentences. _"Matching reads this."_ | ### 2. Practice: a few details that shape who you match with Practitioners pick their primary modalities (required). Practitioners and studios answer the insurance question. The rest depends on what you picked in step 1: how you work, corporate work, _"Roughly how many people do you reach?"_, and for venues the space, capacity and amenities. ### 3. Matching: what you bring, and what you're looking for _"This is what Soul pairs you on."_ - What I bring to the network, and What I'm looking for: pick the chips that fit. - What you'd love to co-create (required): your partnership vision. _"A few sentences help Soul match you well."_ Three or more and you'll see _"Great, that gives Soul plenty to match on."_ ### 4. Links & Media: where people can find and see you Your website (required), social links, and a profile photo or logo (JPG or PNG, cropped square). **Tip:** Your answers are kept as you go, so you can leave the wizard and come back. They're kept in that browser only, so finish on the same device. ## What happens next - Soul emails you _"Welcome to co-creation"_. - Your first round of 3 ideas is written within minutes. Matches shows _"Your matches are being put together"_ and fills in by itself. If there aren't yet enough people in Co-Creation to match on, you'll see _"Not enough practitioners yet"_ instead. - About an hour later you'll get a note from Soul's founder with your personal invite link. See [Invite & Refer](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/audience/co-creation/invite-and-refer). - Your profile is listed in Discover, and other members can be matched with you. You can change both on your profile. ## If Soul already found ideas for you **Note:** **Beta.** This is rolling out and may not be on for your account yet. If you have a published portal, Soul may add you to Co-Creation with a profile drafted from your portal and write your first ideas before you arrive. Your profile isn't listed in Discover or suggested to other members until you finish setting it up, and nobody on your ideas hears about them unless you reach out. - You'll get one email, _"Soul found 3 collaboration ideas for you"_, with a preview of each idea. See your ideas opens [bringsoul.life/co-creation](https://bringsoul.life/co-creation). - If you're not logged in, the page reads _"Soul has already matched you"_. Click Log in to see your matches: the form already holds the email address Soul wrote to, so click Send a Code and enter the code. You land on Matches. - There's nothing to activate. Your ideas are on Matches, under a banner that reads _"Soul matched you from your portal"_ and names anything missing, such as how many people you reach. - Click Review my profile to open the _Finish Your Profile_ wizard with your profile already filled in. Saving its last step lists you in Discover and lets Soul suggest you to other members. If you'd rather not get Co-Creation emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. ## Gotchas - Opting in is required. Without the tick, you'll see _"Please opt in to continue."_ - If Soul couldn't read your portal (for example, it's empty), the wizard opens with blank fields. Fill them in yourself. - Finish with Save & Continue. Editing your profile on its own page doesn't complete setup, so if Matches still says _"Finish your profile to be matched"_ with every item ticked, click Finish setting up and save the last step. - A profile with something missing won't save: _"Finish setting up: describe your work, say what you want from a partnership, name your practice."_ ## Joining from the public page Practitioners who aren't on Soul yet can start at [bringsoul.life/lightholders](https://bringsoul.life/lightholders) (_"Calling All Lightholders"_): paste a website, Linktree or Instagram profile, see a preview of their ideas, confirm their email and finish the same profile. For an Instagram profile, Soul reads the name, bio, recent posts and the website linked in the bio. When Instagram hides the profile, Soul looks it up on the web instead: it finds the name, bio and follower count, and reads their website only if it can tell the site is theirs, for example because the site links back to their Instagram or their bio names it. If you share Co-Creation with a colleague, send them your [invite link](https://help.bringsoul.life/luminaries/audience/co-creation/invite-and-refer) instead, so they count as your referral. If Soul still can't find enough about a profile, you'll see _"We couldn't read that profile. Social sites often hide profiles from us."_ with two ways forward: - Type your website into the box and click Paste your website instead. Soul reads the website and shows your ideas as usual. - Click Fill in my profile myself. Enter your email (skipped if you're already signed in), confirm the code, and the same profile opens with blank fields for you to fill in. If you already have a Co-Creation profile and start again from the public page, Soul doesn't take you through setup a second time.
